English ska band from Camden Town, north London, who originally formed in 1976 but after many member changes settled on the classic 7-piece line up in 1979 that we all know and love, celebrating their 40 year anniversary this year.

One of the most prominent bands of the late 70's & early 80's two-tone ska revival, they still continue to perform with six of the classic seven-member line-up today.

Achieving most of their success in the early to mid-80's. and hold the joint record for number of weeks spent in UK singles charts during the 80's with UB40.

Madness have had 15 singles reach the UK top ten, including many timeless classics like "One Step Beyond", "Baggy Trousers" and "It Must Be Love" and many many more.
